An Indo-Portuguese Pierced & Enamelled Parcel-Gilt Silver Snuff Box, Probably Gujarat or Goa, India, Circa 17th Century.

This extremely rare silver lidded snuffbox of a circular form is designed into two detached sections, finely pierced, engraved, enamelled and decorated with scrollwork and leafy foliate stems designs on a gilt ground.
